Giving quality service for the last 29 years, the open university system of the polytechnic university of the Philippines celebrates its foundation Anniversary on March 1, 2019, Saturday.
Following the theme: transforming lives and societies through exemplary alternative learning, the pup open university has lined up a series of events to celebrate the occasion of its founding anniversary.
A thanksgiving mass will open the celebrations. This will be held on march 2, 2018, Saturday, at pup’s Bulwagang Balagtas in its main campus in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
The mass will be followed by a convocation in the same venue. First guest speaker for the event will be dr. Amelia A. Biglete, Region 4 Director of the Commission on Higher Education.
The second guest speaker will be USEC. Benny D. Antiporda of the Solid Waste Management and Local Government Units Concerns of The Department Of Environment And Natural Resources.
A variety show will then follow. This will showcase the talents of the students, faculty and employees of the open university.
